Olympia

Olivia Bartley, playing under the moniker Olympia features one of the most incredible voices in Australian music, and has been described as ‘the best-kept secret in Australian music right now’. Olympia sweeps you away with lyrical imagery. Her fly away guitar notes hint at Neil Young and Jeff Buckley. Be it voice, guitar or keys, Olivia Bartley, song writer and creative force, seems to have sure knowledge of her armoury. Olympia has supported Paul Dempsey (Something For Kate), Josh Pyke on their national tours as well as supporting City and Colour, stunning the audiences and even earning praise from the artist Dallas Green himself.
After the success of her debut single “Honey” released in February 2015, Olympia has recently released the second instalment of her first album called “This is why we can’t have nice things”. The track has recently been added to Triple J and FBI and hit the #10 spot on the Spotify Viral 50 charts.

She is currently in the studio with Producer Burt Reid, putting the final touches to her debut album, out later this year.

Olympia will be opening for “Alpine” along with Darts & Pearls this June/July.
Semplesize – Single Feature“…delicate, ethereal voice… it will blow you away”
AU Review- Olympia has the unenviable task of preceding Dallas Green, but her exquisite vocal range and inflections, effortlessly win over the punters. Her playful spirit even extends to a mention by Green later in his set. (She may or may not have scribbled on his set list) –
Chelsea McIver, Tone Deaf “A hypnotic, skilful performance that had the audience shiver

Alexandra Skeer, Tone Deaf “As a swarm of curious onlookers moved towards the stage, the tones of a vocoder introduced the shorthaired blonde singer – her vocals booming and shrinking under a controlled grasp. A dreamy haze of trickling chords underscored the raw power of her voice and, though sparse, the accompanying guitar work mesmerised the shivering listeners. A few quiet words of thanks ended her set as she hopped quickly off stage”
