An imagining of musical harmony between Indigenous and western sounds of the 18th Century.
Featuring songs written for Tanderrum: Melbourne Festival’s opening ceremony, Kulin Tide Strings is a unique collaboration between composer James Henry and Silo String Quartet, bringing together timeless sounds from opposite sides of the world with special guest vocalist Emma Donovan and John Wayne Parsons.
Composer James Henry is a musical Renaissance man. His diverse skills have seen him perform with the Black Arm Band tours of the U.K. and U.S., perform as part of the Archie Roach Into the Bloodstream tour and is a sought after sound designer in dance and theatre production.

SiloSQ push the boundaries of string quartet repertoire, launching new composers onto the world stage through performances and recordings.
