Melbourne Recital Centre’s Great Romantics Competition returns.
Open to soloists, duos or small ensembles aged between 18 and 25 years and now in its fifth year, the Great Romantics Competition is an important national competition that provides a valuable platform for young musicians who are passionate about Romantic repertoire, including such luminaries as Brahms, Liszt and Schumann to showcase their passion and skill in concert in the sublime Elisabeth Murdoch Hall.

The Great Romantics Competition Showcase Concert
On Saturday 13 December, the talented finalists compete in a concert showcase in Elisabeth Murdoch Hall that is open to members of the public.
This is an opportunity for friends, family, music enthusiasts, educators and aficionados to visit the Centre, support these aspiring young musicians and listen to a beautiful afternoon program of Romantic repertoire in the sublime acoustic of Elisabeth Murdoch Hall.
