Solo in Red, a new work by acclaimed Melbourne composer, Kynan Robinson, is a musical exploration of the sparseness and fragility of Cormac McCarthy's writing. With the novels Blood Meridian, Suttree and The Border Trilogy as inspiration, Robinson's composition is textured and dynamically complex, a hauntingly beautiful work.
A unique fusion of words, music and images, Solo in Red will be performed by renowned Melbourne sextet Collider.
