Solo repertoire performed on a range of instruments and voice.
Orchestral works including the Elgar Cello Concerto (1^st movement), Poéme by Chausson and  Tchaikowsky’s Violin Concerto  (1^st movement)

ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak Showcase Concert is now in its12^th year and we are delighted to be presenting this concert for the first time in the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall. The concert will feature performances from 18 senior soloists (Years 9 – 12), chosen by audition in Term 1 2012.

In the first half of the program students perform in recital situation, accompanied by piano. In the second half of the program, orchestral works are presented.

A wide range of repertoire will be performed, by instrumentalists and singers. The Mandeville String Orchestra and the Loreto Symphony Orchestra, our School’s two senior orchestras, will perform with five soloists – two singers, two violinists and one cellist.
