ABOUT THIS EVENT

Bring the kids and the grandkids along for a morning of family entertainment. Children of all ages will enjoy the exciting adventures of Babar the Elephant, whose story has been entertaining children since 1931.  They will see and hear the wonderful story of how Babar leaves the jungle, visits a big city and returns to marry Celeste and become the King of the elephant kingdom.  Joining Babar on the program is the delightful Brothers Grimm tale of the Bremen Musicians where a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster head of to live a life free of masters and become musicians.

This concert is appropriate for children age 4 and older.

Melbourne Recital Centre's children's programming is supported by The Hugh Williamson Foundation.
