The Melba Quartet

The Melba Quartet was the Australian String Quartet in it’s foundation years 1985 – 1996 with second violinist Elinor Lea replacing the original ASQ second violinist Douglas Weiland in 1990. The quartet built a fine reputation in twenty countries on five continents. Lucinda Collins is Head of Keyboard at Elder Conservatorium and has been the most frequent guest artist of the Melba Quartet (ASQ ’85-β€˜96).
