In demand internationally on both the operatic stage and concert platform Sally-Anne Russell regularly performs with all the Australian opera companies, symphony orchestras, major festivals and choral societies. An ARIA Award winner, she has recorded on ABC Classics, Chandos and Decca labels. Recent appearances include Carmen (Opera Queensland), Falstaff (West Australian Opera), Das Rheingold (Auckland Philharmonia), Mahler Songs of the Wayfarer and Symphony No 4 (Tasmanian Symphony, Orchestra Victoria).
In 2013, Sally-Anne performs in John Adams’ Nixon in China (Victorian Opera), Mozart Requiem and Beethoven Symphony No 9 (Melbourne Symphony), Flying Dutchman (Sydney Symphony), Mahler Rückert and Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (Melbourne Recital Centre), Art Gallery of NSW, Messiah (Sydney Philharmonia) and recording with Auckland Philharmonia on Naxos.
