A Quest for Opportunity: Arts for Tolerance
One of two concerts by Arts for Tolerance, A Quest for Opportunity features artists who are the offspring of refugees, featured in recital with the stories of their parents’ or grandparents’ refugee flight.
Artists include Vietnamese boat arrival Hoang Pham (piano), grandchildren of Nazi concentration camp survivors Michael Brookes Reid (violin) and Elisse Kleiner (flute) plus singer Annick Kalrehinyana with narrator Inez Giramata, daughters of a Rwandan genocide survivor.
