Animals come in all different shapes, sizes and protective coatings.
Whether you’re into furs, feathers or scales, you’ll find an animal that takes your fancy in Camille Saint-Saëns’ immortal classic, Carnival of the Animals.
As an added bonus, newly written poems by acclaimed Tasmanian writer Bradley Trevor Greive introduce each of the musical numbers, bringing a fresh and uniquely Australian perspective to an old favourite. And to narrate this tale is one of Australia’s great environmentalists, a man who is passionate about all creatures who inhabit our beautiful country, Bob Brown.
What are you waiting for? Dress up as you favourite animal and join the carnival!
