Reflective, spacious and beautiful.
Following the success of their Festival of Beautiful Sound in 2014, contemporary pianist/ composers Nat Bartsch and Luke Howard return for a night of solo piano.
Both are at the forefront of Melbourne’s emerging post classical scene, influenced by contemporaries such as Nils Frahm and Max Richter, along with European and Australian improvised music. Whilst Bartsch and Howard have a unique and recognisable sound of their own, they share a penchant for the reflective, spacious and beautiful. This concert, comprising their own compositions, is not to be missed.
