Celebrate Independence Day with the New Palm Court Orchestra
Pianist and composer Gemma Turvey leads members of the New Palm Court Orchestra and special guest vocalist Gorgi Coghlan in celebration of America’s 4th July with music from and inspired by the USA.
With a distinct Boston and New England focus – the seat of the American Revolution – the evening will include movements from Turvey’s American Suite, an arrangement of Gershwin’s Lullaby for Strings, and improvisations and works by the Paul Winter Consort’s Eugene Friesen, Jay Ungar, bluegrass and some musical fireworks!
