PARIS – A Rock Odyssey starring John Waters
Tim Freedman, Ben Mingay and Brian Mannix. In tribute to Jon English

Details
PARIS a Rock Odyssey tells one of the world’s great love stories – between Paris, Prince of Troy, and Helen, the Greek queen.
Their forbidden passion sparked the Trojan Wars, left thousands dead – and inspired this spectacular and unforgettable Australian rock musical, by the late, great, Jon English.
Music Theatre Melbourne’s concert production pays homage to Jon’s memory and legacy, while presenting his beloved PARIS in a new and exciting form; it draws together the talents of some of the country’s most admired performers and some stars of tomorrow, in a story that is as old as time – but also a story of ours, and every, time.
John Waters (Ulysses) and Ben Mingay (Achilles) head a stunning cast including Kerrie Anne Greenland (Cassandra), Matthew Manahan (Paris) and Madeleine Featherby (Helen) that will bring Jon English’s epic show to life for just four performances in July 2017. It’s a season that will write a new chapter in the story of the Australian musical.
Just announced! Tim Freedman and Brian Mannix join the cast in the respective roles of Agamemnon and Sinon. See the FULL CAST tab on this page for more information.
