Madeleine Nicole Hale

Madeleine Nicole Hale is an emerging composer and writer based in Melbourne, Australia. Madeleine has written the music, lyrics and book of this exciting new musical, AENEAS. This staged reading of AENEAS, The Musical at the Melbourne Recital Centre represents Madeleine’s writing debut in Australia. In addition to musical theatre, Madeleine also writes and performs singer-songwriter, pop, soundtrack and classical compositions. Before turning her talents to composition, Madeleine was originally classically trained as a cellist and soprano. She performed and toured internationally as a cellist with the Chamber Strings of Melbourne for five years. Outside of her musical endeavours, Madeleine is also a commercial lawyer and teaching associate of law at Monash University. Madeleine is always looking for more opportunities to do what she loves – composing, writing and performing.
