Kristian Winther

Kristian Winther has appeared as soloist with the most of Australia’s symphony orchestras, and as Concertmaster of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, as Associate Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Western Australian and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras. Kristian was formerly violinist in the TinAlley String Quartet, winning first prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition. Most recently Kristian has been performing music from the 17th to the 21st centuries in the Play On series for sold out audiences under the age of 30 in an underground car park in Collingwood.
