Lachlan Tan

Lachlan Tan studied piano with Stephen McIntyre in the 1990s and early 2000s, and was recipient of the 3MBS Young Performer of the Year Award in 1998. His original compositions for piano and electronics have been performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and live across Melbourne. He is currently a Director in the Department of Education and Training, advising government on education for disadvantaged students, and implementing programs across Victoria. He has held a number of senior roles in the Victorian Public Service, and was previously a lawyer with Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
