Yalanji songwoman Deline Briscoe’s creative vision is realised in her debut solo album Wawu: Spirit.
Capturing the imaginations, hearts and ears of her audiences, Deline and her band gracefully relate the human emotions to inspire healing, strength and empowerment — a spiritual experience as much as it is a musical journey.
Ticket buyers are welcome to join the artists for complimentary refreshments in the foyer following the performance, in celebration of Opening Night of Yinga-bul 2018.
Melbourne Recital Centre proudly stands on the land of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and we acknowledge the powerful storytelling of a thousand generations who precede us.
