Details

A concert of lyrical vocal music (solo/quartet) accompanied by lute and viola da gamba

Pierre de Ronsard, aka ‘Prince of Poets’, spent his lifetime writing florid poetry about his unrequited love for three women whom he adored from afar.

This concert follows his journey through the sighs, plaints and exhortations of joy for his women Cassandre, Marie and Hélène.

Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre and Auncient Hermony
