Young soloists and ensembles from the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School present a program celebrating Australian women in music.
Hear Elena Kats-Chernin’s darkly brooding Mythic plus the world premiere of a new work for ten players composed by Andrea Keller in collaboration with VCASS improvisation students. Vienna based conductor, Warwick Stengårds, will conduct Mythic and Beethoven’s 8th Symphony. The gala concert finale is Vivaldi’s uplifting Gloria in D. This major sacred choral work will be directed by Lisa Grosman and Dermot Tutty.
