Classical music reimagined, reworked and renewed.

Pianist Angelica Olstad’s contemporary style of writing focuses on challenging the norms of classical music by fusing old repertoire with modern minimalism and pop to re-contextualise and transform into a fully immersive experience.

In this performance, Angelica pairs with Melbourne-based producer Elkkle, taking aim at pieces by Ravel, Debussy and Chopin – turning them inside out with added electronic elements. This concert follows on from Angelica’s debut EP Versions, in which she collaborated with Emmy-award winning, Chris Child.

Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre and Angelica Olstad
