‘Features songs that traverse the life cycle of love, marriage, divorce and back again…deliberately uncomfortable at times, but always hilarious.’ InDaily
Simon Hall (Yon) is not only a third of Tripod, he’s also the second wedding singer. Ready to tie the knot again? You’re gonna need someone to sing you through that. Backed by his 8-piece brass band, the Brass Ring, Simon serenades your re-coupling, reminding you that it will be better this time because it was so bad the last time.
Originally commissioned by Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Second Wedding Singer premiered at the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent in June 2017.
Featuring such soon to-be-hits as ‘My Parents’ Breakup (Was Better Than Your Parents’ Breakup)’, ‘Guilt Is My Engine’ and ‘Left Out of A Threesome’, Simon will manage your expectations with sweetness but firmness.
