The Plucked-String Orchestra of China Central Conservatory of Music’s Australian Debut.
Distinguished Pipa master Zhang Hong Yan together with her Plucked-String Orchestra from China Central Conservatory of Music make their Australian debut to present a sensational plucked-string concert Tales of the Silk Road.
The music pieces are inspired by the local folk music of the ethnics along the Silk Road from China to the Central Asian countries.
The concert will combine the traditional Chinese instrument performance with a contemporary stage display to give the audience a multi-dimensional artistic experience.
