Established in 2003, the Plucked-String Orchestra of China Central Conservatory of Music are a professional Chinese orchestra reaching a variety of audiences through live performances, recordings, TV and radio broadcasts. As one of the best traditional Chinese orchestras, they frequently tour and collaborate with guest artists and arts organisations in Asia, America and Africa. Their album “Tug at China’s Heartstrings” is listed in the permanent collection of The Library of Congress, United States.
