Leaping onto the Australian music scene in 2017, Melbourne Chamber Players comprises musicians who have dedicated their lives to performing exceptional chamber music at the highest level.

Directed by clarinetist Justin Beere and oboist Steph Dixon, its passionate players perform with the leading Australian symphony orchestras and ensembles.

Melbourne Chamber Players performs glorious music by three revolutionaries. From the brooding pastoral beauty of Bridge’s Phantasy Quartet to the shape-shifting sonic imagery of Motion by Nico Muhly and Prokofiev’s revolutionary Quintet originally composed for ballet, the ensemble brings colour and precision to the compelling musical landscapes crafted by these powerful compositional voices.
