Brilliance & Virtuosity

Natsuko and Konstantin.jpg

Brilliance, virtuosity, spark, drama and emotion.

International soloists Natsuko Yoshimoto (violin) and Konstantin Shamray (piano) have been playing together since 2017, exploring wide-ranging repertoire for violin and piano. Together they have studied at esteemed institutions and each has won coveted competition prizes. The duo’s expressive virtuosity promises to leave a powerful impression.

This concert has it all: brilliance, virtuosity, spark, drama and emotion. The Strauss sonata is a real tour-de-force piece, known to be one of the most difficult pieces to play technically but also bringing out the delicacy, charm and humour typical of the great composer. Beethoven’s Sonata No.3 in E-flat also emanates virtuosity, radiance and warmth. There’s no better way to experience these astonishing works than under the very capable hands of pianist Konstantin Shamray and violinist Natsuko Yoshimoto.
