Solstice Piano Trio returns to the Salon in 2019 with Cityscapes, a portrait of cities as places of chaos, connection, hope, home and history.

Featuring commissions by local composers Nat Bartsch and Louisa Trewartha, and a new work by Solstice’s cellist Steph Arnold, the concert explores our connection to cities, and the roles they play in our lives.

Complementing these central works will be music by Moya Henderson, and finally Peteris Vasks’ Plainscapes: a beautiful and meditative work reflecting Vasks’ own connection to his home and the Latvian landscape.
