Flinders Quartet - Collins Street Concert 3

This event takes place at Collins Street Baptist Church

Details

Flinders Quartet’s popular Collins Street concert series closes 2019 with a program of Debussy and Zhao Zheng

While separated by geography and history, the musical colours of contemporary Chinese sensation, Zhao Zhang and Debussy’s works illustrate the way music is able to unite cultures.

Both quintessentially nationalistic in their own ways, the similarities between the two works on this program are far more striking than their differences.

Come along early to enjoy a pre concert from 12.40pm to 12.50pm by a student or amateur ensemble.
