Winner of the Welsh Music Prize in 2015, Gwenno Saunders is a sound artist, DJ and radio presenter.
Political, feminist and passionate about the preservation of the Welsh and Cornish languages, she is charting her own defiant course and producing brilliant music that’s free of commercial shackles.
Her second album Le Kov is one of 2018’s most beautiful and stirring records, swirling with ancient myths, modern themes and retro-futuristic synth lines tumbling over Krautrock and pop rhythms.
