Caroline Almonte and Blair Harris present diverse modern Australian works for cello and piano paired with the monumental sonatas of French icon Gabriel Fauré.
Be enraptured as they share the fleeting fairytales of Janáček’s Pohádka and Fauré’s rarely heard Cello Sonata No.1 — an energetic yet lyrical work of highly original style. Also featured are contemporary works of Greenbaum and Humphries, showcasing our nation’s own musical language.
Join the artists following the concert for a wine tasting.
