The Benaud Trio is one of Australia’s finest chamber ensembles.
Formed in 2005 by pianist Amir Farid, violinist Lachlan Bramble and cellist Ewen Bramble, the ensemble’s members have established themselves as formidable performers of diverse repertoire and musical styles.
This concert sees the ensemble take on one of Mendelssohn’s most popular creations and James Macmillan’s 14 Little Pictures, a collection of minatures that together are even more wonderful than the sum of their parts.
