Meeting Mendelssohn
Details
MSO invites YOU for an interactive musical adventure exploring Felix Mendelssohn’s vibrantly vivid, vivacious, vital and volatile Violin Concerto!
The Orchestra, our presenter and a very special guest soloist will guide you through the 35-minute Jam. Bring your clapping hands, your singing voice and stamping feet to join in as you discover Mendelssohn’s marvellous melodies and rousing rhythms.
Your adventure continues after the show when you’ll step out of the concert hall and into a wonderful world populated entirely by the curious creatures of the orchestra. Our instrumental petting zoo gives you and your family the chance to see, smell and hear all your favourite orchestral instruments and MSO musicians up close.
