Details

More than just an ordinary concert, Quartet & Country is a much loved project of the Australian String Quartet — one that seeks to find common ground between Western art music and the songlines of this country.

A multi-faceted event comprising two concert programs of top Australian composers and a Q&A session, it celebrates new Australian music written and performed by some of the country’s leading voices including Lou Bennett, Stephen Pigram, William Barton and the ASQ. Following the 4pm concert and preceding the 6pm concert on Saturday 17 August, join the artists for a Q&A in the Primrose Potter Salon. This event is free to attend, however bookings are required.
