Dutch musician Remy van Kesteren’s passion for harp was ignited upon hearing the enchanting instrument as a young child. He has devoted himself to playing it ever since.
First rising to international acclaim as a classical harpist, Remy won all manner of coveted prizes and awards, touring concert halls around the world. In recent years, his sound has evolved to reflect a variety of modern styles.
New release Shadows, his second album with Deutsche Grammophon, draws inspiration from all corners of the musical world, from hip-hop and pop to modern classical and jazz. The pieces are a blended mélange of neo-classical, electronic and ambient influences. Together they create an emotional and beguiling journey on harp not to be missed.
