Adored by tens of millions of fans, Chinese superstar violinist Lu Siqing returns to Melbourne for a special one-night-only recital celebrating the musical magic of spring.
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s 2019 Soloist in Residence, Lu famously plays the ‘Miss Crespi’ 1699 Stradivarius violin and has been performing with the MSO since 2014.
Having completed the incredible feat of a 40-city tour of China, Lu now performs a recital in the sublime acoustics of the Melbourne Recital Centre, with a program centered on the charm of spring. For this special event, Lu will be joined by accomplished Melbourne-based Chinese-Australian pianist Angela Li.
