We regret to advise Allara & The Mob on Wednesday 29 July has been cancelled.

Melbourne Recital Centre cares deeply about the health and safety of its audiences, artists and staff. We acknowledge that the suspension of normal operations in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a difficult but essential action for the health of the Victorian public. We are committed to supporting our staff during this time and difficult circumstances. We thank our community for its support during this challenging time.

Yorta Yorta musician Allara Briggs Pattison honours the spirit, exploring themes of cultural connection to family, country, food, ceremony and sovereignty.

Going beyond the realms of making music just for music’s sake, song-woman-in-the-making Allara, with guidance from community mentors, has created a performance that inspires thought and provokes discussion. An evocative show to experience.
