We regret to advise Homage on Tuesday 5 May has been cancelled.

Melbourne Recital Centre cares deeply about the health and safety of its audiences, artists and staff. We acknowledge that the suspension of normal operations in response to COVID-19 is a difficult but essential action for the health of the Victorian public. We are committed to supporting our staff during this time and difficult circumstances. We thank our community for its support during this challenging time.

All ticket holders are entitled to a full refund via their original point of purchase. We are currently in the process of arranging refunds.

Ukrainian-Australian mother-son duo Markiyan & Oksana Melnychenko perform great violin and piano masterpieces.

Recitals by the duo present the highest standard of musical artistry, brimming with the artists’ passionate joy for sharing great music.

In celebration of the anniversary of one of history’s greatest composers, Markiyan & Oksana Melnychenko perform the music of Beethoven, showcasing the full range of his storytelling. From the highest levels of sublimity to elegance and charm, finally culminating in the super-charged power of his ‘Kreutzer’ Sonata, this concert invites the listener to be swept away by the far-reaching vision of this unique artist.
