Event details

Mirko Guerrini Horizontal Quartet is a celebration of melody.

Featuring multi-awarded composer and saxophonist Mirko Guerrini, bassist Tamara Murphy, pianist Andrea Keller and Niko Schauble on drums, the four distinct voices of the ensemble blend together in a mesmerising polyphonic chant.

Influenced by everything from improvised music, opera, pop, folk and traditional melodies, this unique group has quickly caught the attention of Australia. Puccini, Mozart, Mahler, John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Keith Jarrett are all present in the Quartet’s original music.
