Event details

Flinders Quartet close their 20th anniversary season with their favourite Beethoven quartet, and are joined by Lloyd Van’t Hoff for Mozart’s clarinet quintet

In a program that needs little introduction, Flinders Quartet continues their association with the much-loved and prodigiously talented Lloyd Van’t Hoff (clarinet). Completing their 20th birthday celebrations with their favourite Beethoven string quartet, Op. 132, FQ promise to deliver these masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire in an iconically Flinders Quartet way.

‘Few works bring me as much joy as Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet. Within each morsel of music there’s a smorgasbord of different thoughts and emotions that can be dreamt and imagined. Sharing that intimate journey of discovery with such generous musical friends is life-affirming for me; it reminds me why I do what I do.’ Lloyd Van’t Hoff, clarinet (guest artist).
