We regret to advise Stewart Kelly & Friends on Tuesday 29 September has been cancelled.

Melbourne Recital Centre cares deeply about the health and safety of its audiences, artists and staff. Pianist Stewart Kelly is the choice partner of many of Australia’s finest instrumentalists and singers. Performing extensively in Australia and beyond, he collaborates with artists of the highest calibre to create unforgettable recitals that explore every corner of the human condition.

Joining Stewart to sing the finest songs from his mother country of Germany is international baritone Markus Matheis. Experience the breadth of the lied repertoire with the music of Brahms and Hans Eisler that will make you laugh and cry, coupled with Mahler’s masterpiece ‘Songs of a Wayfarer’ in its original setting for voice and piano, featuring texts written by the composer himself.
