Tennessee-born guitarist, songwriter and producer William Tyler has reinvented the sound of country music.
Having established his reputation as a versatile and supremely inventive guitar ace, he’s worked with legends including Lambchop, The Silver Jews and Bonnie Prince Billy.
Tyler’s solo efforts focus on instrumental, often experimental compositions that pull from a variety of styles, from sparse American primitive guitar to pastoral country-driven rock and folk. Following 2016’s expansive release Modern Country, Tyler returns in 2020 with the bucolic Goes West and a concert that promises to showcase his immense talent and showmanship as one of Nashville’s great electric guitarists.
