Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre and Loretta Palmeiro & Mark Isaacs
‘Travel deep into a land of melodic luxuriance.’ Sydney Morning Herald
About the artists
The virtuosic duo of Loretta Palmeiro and Mark Isaacs cross the boundaries between jazz, classical music, new music and other genres with their unique improvised performances. After playing together for five years on a regular basis and purely for the love of it, Loretta and Mark made their public debut at the 2017 Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival.
About this concert
Demonstrating how music can elegantly respond to change, Loretta Palmeiro and Mark Isaacs draw on intuition, imagination and innovation to take listeners on a remarkable and evolving voyage. The results can be delicate, furious or passionate: proof that unpredictability can be a beautiful journey even when the destination is unknown.
