Concert Cancelled: Australian Girls Choir in Concert

Due to capacity restrictions for live music venues in Melbourne, we regret to advise that the Australian Girls Choir concert on Saturday 21 August has been cancelled.

Melbourne Recital Centre cares deeply about the health and safety of its audiences, artists and staff. We acknowledge that the suspension of normal operations in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a difficult but essential action for the health of the Victorian public. We are committed to supporting our staff and artists during these difficult circumstances and we thank you, our music-loving community for your support and understanding during this time.

All ticket holders are entitled to a full refund via their original point of purchase. You do not need to contact us, all refunds will happen automatically. A spectacular showcase of song and dance. You will be stunned by their exquisite singing, impressed by their dazzling dance steps and moved by the passionate performance of the Australian Girls Choir (AGC).

Like no other choir you’ve seen before, these girls perform with vibrancy and energy which is how they have sung their way into the hearts of thousands of people worldwide. This enchanting performance will take you on a musical journey featuring varied and entertaining repertoire.

The angelic voices of the AGC have been heard all over the globe including singing for Queen Elizabeth II, President Obama and Oprah Winfrey on their Australian tours, and at thousands of high profile events including the Andre Rieu Tour, Celtic Woman Tour and Carols by Candlelight. These inspirational young singers recently performed alongside Hugh Jackman at the launch of the Australian leg of his World Tour.
