Presented by Corpus Medicorum
Corpus Medicorum returns to Elisabeth Murdoch Hall in 2021.
Corpus Medicorum is excited to get back onto the stage to play its favourite music for its favourite Corpus friends.
Mindful of the current health situation, Corpus Medicorum presents works for a smaller orchestra to open its season including Handel, Mozart and Vaughan Williams. The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba is a short orchestral interlude in Handel’s epic Solomon opera. Vaughan Williams’s famous Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis is an all-time favourite of string players and Mozart’s immortal 29th Symphony completes our first ‘Symphonic Vaccine’ for a happy and healthy musical year ahead.
Melbourne Recital Centre is committed to the safety of our artists, staff and patrons. As we reopen, a range of public health, hygiene and physical distancing measures will be in place. Click here to learn more.
