Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre & the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM)
Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro is a classic comedy that has been entertaining audiences for centuries.
Performed by musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) led by Nick Deutsch (ANAM Artistic Director 2016-2020), this arranged version for wind octet includes all the soaring melodies, brilliant arias, duets, trios and that sparkling overture. Actor Bethany Simons provides an entertaining narration so no twist, turn or character goes unnoticed.
The Mostly Mozart series of concerts provides an hour of wonderful music and the chance to catch up with friends and enjoy classical masterpieces performed in the acoustic beauty of Elisabeth Murdoch Hall.
