Online Event: Strike a Chord

Strike a Chord

Presented by Musica Viva

The format of this year’s Strike A Chord Competition has regretfully had to change due to COVID19 restrictions.

The Grand Final, Sunday 15 August, will be livestreamed from the competitors’ home States, or for those groups impacted by COVID restrictions Musica Viva will broadcast a pre-recorded video of their performance.

Share in the joy as these young practitioners showcase their exceptional talents with free tickets to the Grand Final Livestream made available via Musica Viva. Register now for the FREE livestream and cheer on your state finalists from the comfort of your home.

A renowned industry judging panel will determine the winning groups. Plus, winners will be announced by Musica Viva’s Artistic Director of Competitions, Wilma Smith, who is Second Violinist of the Flinders Quartet, curator/violinist/violist of Wilma & Friends, Guest Concertmaster of orchestras throughout Australia and New Zealand, a regular player with the Australian World Orchestra and a committed teacher.

Don’t miss your opportunity to support future chamber music stars from the very beginning.
