Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre & the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM)
Two spectacular works by Mozart conjure joy and triumph in the grandest scale.
About this concert
Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 is not only joyful, but playful and even provocative. It illustrates the ‘sunny genius’ that we all cherish in Mozart’s music. The great Classical composer’s Symphony No.35, ‘Haffner’ is just as festive in spirit. The uplifting nature of these works is a perfect fit for the young performers of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), who share their enthusiastic musicianship with you.
The Mostly Mozart series of concerts provides an hour of wonderful music and the chance to catch up with friends and enjoy classical masterpieces performed in the acoustic beauty of Elisabeth Murdoch Hall.
Melbourne Recital Centre is committed to the safety of our artists, staff and patrons. As we reopen, a range of public health, hygiene and physical distancing measures will be in place. Click here to learn more.
