Aldous Harding by Emma Wallbanks

Presented by ALWAYS LIVE, Melbourne Recital Centre, Frontier Touring and Penny Drop

One of Aotearoa’s greatest musical exports.

Heralded as one of Aotearoa’s greatest musical exports, acclaimed singer and songwriter Aldous Harding returns to Melbourne for two intimate live shows. Harding is a creative force like no other – her off-kilter originality and elaborate alternative-folk sound are born from a unique sense of showmanship.

About the concert

Harding’s Australian tour comes in celebration of her acclaimed fourth studio album Warm Chris, released in March via 4AD/Remote Control. Recorded in Monmouth, Wales, it marks her third collaboration with producer John Parish and sees the skillful, acrobatic singer proudly moving into sunnier territory, delivering one of her finest works to date.

Supported by Cardiff multi-instrumentalist and critically acclaimed solo artist H. Hawkline, Aldous Harding’s performance in Elisabeth Murdoch Hall will showcase her unbridled originality and unquestionable musicianship.

Harding’s Melbourne performance is presented in partnership with ALWAYS LIVE, a state-wide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria.
