Bach's Universe

Presented by Australian Brandenburg Orchestra

Enter Bach’s Universe with Jonas Zschenderlein

A performance of JS Bach’s music is a journey into an inner universe of magnificent mystery. Constellations of chords rush into vast galaxies of sound that surge with Bach’s creative energy. Each work is an infinite cosmic expanse to explore.

Returning to Australia for his first live performance, sensational German Baroque violinist Jonas Zschenderlein will lead the orchestra in a radiant performance of Bach’s Violin Concerto in E. This all-Bach concert culminates with Jonas guest-directing the genius composer’s Orchestral Suite No.3 in D, famously known ‘Air in G’, in an unmissable period instrument performance.
