About the concert

Their performance in Elisabeth Murdoch Hall as part of Melbourne Recital Centre’s Great Performers series presents the Complete Beethoven Sonatas 1-10. The works range from calmly restrained to impossibly extroverted, swapping roles and textures, demanding methodical mastery and technique.

The long-time collaborators maintain a musical synchronicity that is a pleasure to witness, creating a sense of balance and harmony. Originally planned as a highlight of Melbourne Recital Centre’s 2020 Beethoven celebrations, these performances have been long anticipated by Melbourne audiences.
