Stewart Kelly is one of Australia’s most sought-after pianists, pairing versatility and refinement with unrelenting musicianship. German baritone Markus Matheis is known for his profoundly rich voice that has seen him work all over the world.

After acclaimed performances of Die schöne Müllerin in 2020 and Winterreise in 2021, Stewart Kelly returns to Melbourne Recital Centre with German baritone Markus Matheis to perform the final and most diverse collection of songs Schwanengesang.
Featuring some of Schubert’s most recognisable and inventive songs, this astonishing collection will take audiences to the very corners of human experience. Don’t miss this rare performance of great power in the spectacular Primrose Potter Salon.
